Migrating to the new integration activation process with an existing integration
Our new integration activation process, released in March 2025, offers significant advantages for both integrators and customers. Integrators benefit from a more efficient management system for integrations and their versions. Additionally, they can enroll new customers more easily, thanks to the user-friendly self-service interface that allows customers to activate integrations effortlessly.

Start creating a new integration specification. See the instructions here Note! The instructions behind the link are mainly written from a new integration's perspective. Please see the following section for more details.
When creating an integration specification, you can continue using your current technical user and Client ID. Fill in these details:
Your current Client ID
Your current technical user
Your current technical user's user rights
In addition, depending on your integration, your API key may be the same as previously.
If you have used M2M authentication, the same API key will be returned (after the migration)
If you have not yet used M2M, a new API key will be created
If these pre-requisites apply to you, you can request migration to the new integration activation flow on this page.
There are one or more customer environments already using your integration
Your integration either already uses M2M authentication or is open to migrating to M2M authentication
You haven't yet created an integration specification with your current technical user
In case your integration is new (without existing customers etc.), you can start using the new process without submitting the form as instructed in this article.
